YOUR NEW HOUSE BUILD PROCESS
For your initial meeting with Homes by Maxim we’ll need to get an idea of your new home requirements in terms of style, size, functionality and make sure we establish your budget.
Once this has been confirmed we can take you through some suitable plans from our latest plan range.
We will then develop your requirements into a conceptual design i.e. detailed drawings and specification prepared. This usually takes 2-3 weeks.
When the plans are ready we’ll get together with you and talk them through to make sure you are happy with the outcome.
At this stage you can take these home and specify any final changes and feedback on the design i.e reconfigure the layout of the kitchen etc.
Once the final plan has been decided upon we will work with you to develop your specification, ie kitchen design, floor coverings, plumbing and appliance selection etc.
At this stage the CBNZ (Certified Builders New Zealand) contract is signed and we will produce the final working drawings , then lodge for building consent.
When building consent has been issued our project management team will liaise with you throughout the construction process.
Construction usually takes 14-30 weeks depending on the complexity of the design, it’s location and the time of year
